Tigran Abrahamyan: 'Have you ever thought, which serious person believes you?'
The authorities are attempting to create the impression that they are seriously concerned about the repatriation of prisoners, the search for missing persons, or the return of the bodies of our fallen compatriots. The Prime Minister, with his posts, the spokesperson with their clarifications, and the NSS with their announcements aim to show that they are doing something; do we believe it? Of course not. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the 'Focus' analytical center, on his Facebook page.
'If they were truly interested in the swift resolution of these issues, they would have included deadlines in the trilateral statement signed on November 9 regarding prisoners, missing persons, and the search for the bodies of the deceased, just as Azerbaijan did in seizing control over three regions of Artsakh (Karvachar, Aghdam, Lachin). They handed over territories without a shot being fired within the short timeframe dictated by Azerbaijan, but they did not prioritize setting deadlines for the return of prisoners, and now we are in this situation.'
'Now you are negotiating about completely different matters but writing emotional, beautiful texts, saying that we met on the matter of prisoners or that it is set as a precondition. Azerbaijanis are spitting in your face at various levels every day, while you are trying to convince us with your proud texts that you are standing strong, when in reality you are silently fulfilling their conditions with your heads bowed.'
'Have you ever thought about which serious person believes, trusts, or takes your words as a guideline? You are insignificant, and you and your justifiers cannot survive this,' wrote Abrahamyan.
