UK Approves Use of Moderna Vaccine Within its Territory

The United Kingdom has authorized the use of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine within its territory. According to Armenpress, this information was reported by TASS.

On December 6, the European Medicines Agency also approved the use of the Moderna vaccine against coronavirus in the European Union. The Moderna vaccine was developed by the biotechnological company Moderna Therapeutics, founded by the world-renowned Armenian entrepreneur Noubar Afeyan. The vaccine is also authorized for use in the United States. On November 16, Moderna announced that its coronavirus vaccine has an efficacy of approximately 95 percent.
