Sofya Hovsepyan Announces Departure from 'My Step' Faction to Serve as Independent MP

Sofya Hovsepyan has announced on her Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, I have made the decision to leave my 'My Step' faction and from now on I will act as an independent MP. I have come to this decision after much consideration. This does not mean that I will in any way neglect the implementation of my adopted mission; rather, I will continue to work with the same dedication as I have up to this point.

I will support any noble and state-serving cause, as I have done, and I will oppose all matters that do not align with the interests of our country and our nation. I kindly ask those who have entrusted me with their voices to feel free to reach out to me for any support you may need.

At the same time, I apologize to my compatriots who have trusted me with their votes for not discussing this decision with you, but I am confident that you will understand my position.
