361 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed

As of January 8, at 11:00 AM, a total of 161,415 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 147,961 have recovered and 2,908 resulted in death. Currently, 9,850 patients are receiving treatment for coronavirus.

A total of 604,686 tests have been conducted. Yesterday, 1,700 tests were performed, which confirmed 361 new cases of coronavirus. We have 573 recoveries and 7 new death cases.

On the previous day, there was one reported death where the patient had a coronavirus infection; however, the cause of death was attributed to another illness. The total number of such cases is 696.
