We Have One Homeland, This Homeland Only Has Us, and We Must Make It Flourish
Regional Governor of Kotayk Mesrop Mesropyan has delivered a New Year’s message:
“Dear compatriots, esteemed residents of Kotayk, in a few hours we will bid farewell to the year 2020, which has been a year of painful challenges and trials for our country. The pain is immense for all of us, the losses are irrevocable, but we do not have the right to break; we will live to overcome.”
“We have one homeland, and that homeland only has us. We must make it flourish and strengthen it through our joint efforts—through our daily work, education, and faith.”
“Dear residents of Kotayk, in 2020, a number of visible projects have been implemented in the region to improve the lives of residents, but there are still many unresolved issues, which means we have much work to do. In this regard, I expect everyone's support.”
“I pay tribute to our brothers and fathers who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, and to our mothers and sisters who have lost their sons. I extend my heartfelt New Year’s greetings to our heroic soldiers standing on the front line and wish strength of spirit to our brothers and sisters in Artsakh. I wish peace to our homeland, health, love, and prosperity to the families. May there be only the joy and laughter of children in our land from now on,” the message states.
