Russia Grants Armenia 10 Million Euros as Humanitarian Aid
The Russian Federation has provided Armenia with a grant of 10 million euros to co-finance individual financial assistance programs for the forcibly displaced population from Nagorno-Karabakh located within the territory of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by the office of Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
On December 28 of this year, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, which stipulates that the Russian Federation will grant 10 million euros as financial aid to co-finance the financial assistance measures conducted by the government of the Republic of Armenia for the forcibly displaced population from Nagorno-Karabakh.
Since November 16, 2020, as part of the support programs for Artsakh approved by the Government, approximately 14.8 billion drams have been allocated as of December 30, 2020.
