Russia Developing Laser Weapons to Combat Drones

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Alexei Krivoruchko, has announced that laser systems are being developed in the country to counter unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the Red Star newspaper.

"Currently, work is underway to create other laser systems aimed at countering the enemy's drones, as well as optical and optoelectronic devices," Krivoruchko stated.

He also mentioned that a radio frequency system is being developed for the functional destruction of electronic equipment used in drones.
