First Case of Coronavirus British Strain Detected in the U.S.

A case of infection with the more contagious British strain of the coronavirus has been reported for the first time in the United States. The infection was recorded in Colorado. Governor Jared Polis announced this on his Twitter page.

The 20-year-old patient is currently in isolation. It has been noted that the young individual has not traveled recently. Authorities are now investigating his potential contacts.

Earlier, we reported that two countries, Japan and Finland, have also confirmed cases of infections with two new strains of the coronavirus (British and South African).
