Artsakh President Receives Armenian Minister of Education, Discusses Post-War Education Challenges

On December 30, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Vahram Dumanyan, and Deputy Minister Karen Giloian, as reported by the President's office.

The head of state emphasized the importance of organized and effective collaboration between the two ministries. He noted that despite the difficulties of the post-war period, the government would spare no effort in developing education, science, culture, and sports in the Republic, involving various necessary resources and creating appropriate conditions.

The President highlighted that the majority of schoolchildren and students have already returned, and alongside solving housing issues, their numbers are expected to significantly increase.

Minister Dumanyan thanked President Harutyunyan for the warm welcome and expressed willingness to give new quality to the existing cooperation. He also mentioned that he would spend the New Year holidays in Artsakh.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Artsakh, Lusine Garakhanian, and Chief of Staff of the President's Office, Artak Baglaryan.
