Armenia and Georgia's Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Agenda Issues

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ara Aivazyan, had a telephone conversation on December 30 with the Foreign Minister of Georgia, David Zalkaliani, as reported by the Public Diplomacy and Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Minister Aivazyan congratulated his counterpart on his reappointment as Foreign Minister. The heads of the foreign affairs agencies addressed bilateral and regional agenda issues. Both sides emphasized their readiness to strengthen relations based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and neighborliness, including through the activation of communications and dialogue at various levels.

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Georgia exchanged thoughts on issues of regional peace and security.
