Video: I said that the only way out is your resignation. Tsarukyan on meeting with Pashinyan
The meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan, lasted only a few minutes in the National Assembly.
After the meeting, Gagik Tsarukyan told reporters, "The meeting couldn’t last long; I reiterated my position, which I have stated publicly, to the Prime Minister, that the only way to pull the country out of this situation is for him to resign. That is the only option. Regarding the parliamentary elections, I said that you should not be the acting Prime Minister. When that is acceptable, we can negotiate about the rest. My position has not changed; he wanted to meet, and I did not refuse," he stated.
Tsarukyan declined to reveal what Pashinyan's response was.
