The street in Valence, France, will be named 'Stepanakert'. This was announced by Valence Deputy Mayor Georges Rastclan. According to him, Valence already has a Ijevan Park, Armenia Street, and Yerevan Street, and now there will also be a Stepanakert Street.
“A new neighborhood is being built in Valence, and we proposed that one of the main streets of this neighborhood be named Stepanakert. Another street will be named Toros Street,” said the deputy mayor.
He added that this step could create a benevolent envy in other countries and contribute to the recognition of the Republic of Artsakh.
