LHP Will Not Meet Nikol Pashinyan: Gevorg Gorgisyan

I don't know where the press gets such absurdities. This was stated by Gevorg Gorgisyan during a conversation with journalists regarding reports that Nikol Pashinyan will meet with the LHP.

Gorgisyan noted that the issue of early elections is not on their agenda at the moment; they are demanding Pashinyan's resignation, after which a new government will be formed, and the country will be stabilized, paving the way for elections.

According to the LHP MP, given the chaotic situation that currently exists, early elections pose a danger to the country and its statehood. “What we saw near the National Assembly, we can see in every village and community. It would be uncontrollable,” he stated.

Gorgisyan pointed out that if Pashinyan offers to discuss his resignation and a smooth transfer of power, they will consider it. However, such an offer has not been made, and the proposal to discuss parliamentary elections has been rejected.
