Turks Place Sign Reading 'Welcome to Azerbaijan' on Goris-Kapan Interstate Road, Says Goris Vice Mayor

Goris Vice Mayor Irina Yolyan has shared photos on her Facebook page showing that Azerbaijanis have installed a sign reading 'Welcome to Azerbaijan'. Her post includes the following commentary:

“Turks are flooding the Goris-Kapan interstate road; they are placing a sign. Do you see the post saying welcome to Azerbaijan? Well, say this is not Syunik, say that the borders are strong, say that it was this that the Turk was supposed to write in Zangezur – welcome to hell. Be proud, shameless ones.”
