Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Receives Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Today, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, H.E. Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri.

The Secretary emphasized the importance of Armenian-Iranian friendly relations and the necessity to enhance cooperation between Armenia and Iran in the development of regional strategic infrastructures in the post-war period, addressing the regional political and security situation.

Both sides reaffirmed their willingness to continue effective cooperation in the fields of security, economy, infrastructure development, science, and other areas. The exceptional role of the North-South corridor in the development of Armenian-Iranian trade relations was highlighted by both parties.
