Duty Roster Established at the State Revenue Committee on Non-Working and Holiday Days
In connection with the New Year, the State Revenue Committee has established a duty roster in certain divisions on non-working, holiday, and memorial days. By the order of the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hovhannisyan, the customs clearance of goods transported across the customs border by entities engaged in external economic activities, as well as by individuals, will be carried out uninterruptedly between December 31, 2020, and January 4-7, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Specifically, duty has been established in the customs offices of the State Revenue Committee, as well as in the departments responsible for combating smuggling, investigation and operational intelligence, customs supervision, customs statistics and revenue accounting, information technologies, legal departments, and the secretariat.
Information about the duty schedule, as well as details of the responsible person and their phone number, is posted on information boards at the customs operational locations. By the order of the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, enhanced control will be exercised at border customs authorities by the Department for Combating Smuggling, customs offices, and border customs checkpoints during festive and pre-festive days.
