Details of Phone Conversation Between Putin and Kocharian

The head of the office of Armenia's second president, Viktor Soghomonyan, has confirmed the information regarding the phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Robert Kocharian but declined to provide further details.

Earlier, sources from the Wargonzo information project reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone call with Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharian. The conversation lasted about an hour.

Later, renowned Russian publisher Aram Gabrelyanov, former CEO of the News Media holding, shared details of the phone call on his Telegram channel. According to him, the main topic of discussion revolved around the economic situation in Armenia and Artsakh. They discussed ways to avoid economic collapse, which Armenia may encounter in February 2021. Security issues concerning Armenia and Artsakh were also addressed.
