Armenia and Cyprus Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security and Stability Issues

On December 28, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high dynamics of Armenian-Cypriot relations in bilateral and multilateral formats and highlighted their mutual willingness to take practical steps to expand and enrich the bilateral agenda.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Cyprus exchanged views on regional security and stability issues. Addressing the Azerbaijani-Turkish military aggression against Artsakh, Minister Ayvazyan praised Cyprus's principled stance and support for the people of Artsakh. In this context, Ayvazyan also expressed his gratitude to the Government of Cyprus for the humanitarian assistance provided to the Armenian population affected by Azerbaijani aggression.
