"Let Us Stand Strong by the Church": Divine Liturgy Begins at Saint Gayane

The bells rang out at all Armenian churches, marking the commencement of the end-of-year Divine Liturgy service. Numerous faithful gathered in the courtyard of Saint Gayane Church to support the church and partake in the year-end liturgy. The church courtyard was crowded, with only a few succeeding in entering to attend the service.

Under the slogan "Let Us Stand Strong by the Church," today citizens, public and political figures, and believers expressed their support for the Armenian Apostolic Church. It is worth noting that recently, certain groups spread information that they would express their protest against the church during the liturgy held at Saint Gayane this Sunday. As a result, citizens decided to show support for the church, with some individuals posting online that they were planning to disrupt the year-end service and oust the Catholicos from the church.
