They laughed, drank to victory, and joked with 91-year-old Benik, who miraculously survived the shelling. And I was smiling with them, but images of drone strikes were spinning in my head. Rockets hit houses and KAMAZ trucks that were carrying people. Where are you now? Are you alive? What could one do with an AK-47 from 1983 if Martuni were attacked?
