Children of Stepanakert Call for Peace on Earth Through Graffiti
At School Number 3 in Stepanakert, Russian peacekeepers held an event titled "Yunarmiya for the Children of Artsakh" in collaboration with representatives of the All-Russian Youth Public Movement Yunarmiya.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense's website, during the event, a video bridge connected students and youths from 10 cities in Russia, including Orenburg, Krasnoyarsk, Zelenodolsk, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Kaluga, Bryansk, Moscow, and the Moscow region. The main studio was located at the central headquarters of Yunarmiya in Moscow.
During the video bridge, teenagers from Krasnodar conveyed the "Peace Graffiti" relay to the children of Nagorno-Karabakh, where, led by a graffiti artist, students painted a depiction of peace on the school wall.
Additionally, children from Russia congratulated their counterparts in Artsakh on the upcoming New Year via teleconference, presenting them with 1,500 handmade postcards and 1,200 New Year’s toys, while peacekeepers gifted each child with a school kit and a backpack.
