After the change of power, an investigation must certainly be conducted and answers should be provided to all questions, including the CSTO letter: Vaneltsyan

It is unacceptable for an Armenian to speak about the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in such a manner. This was stated today, December 27, by Arthur Vaneltsyam, the leader of the "Homeland" party, during a conversation with journalists in the yard of the St. Gayane church.

“The Armenian Apostolic Holy Church has been the center of our nation and Armenian preservation for centuries. Any Armenian should humbly and devotedly follow the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. I am here today as I always am; every Sunday, I visit the church as a believer. Today, we decided to visit the St. Gayane church,” noted Vaneltsyam.

Referring to the letter sent by the CSTO Secretary General to the Secretary of the Security Council on September 1, Vaneltsyam stated: “I have repeatedly mentioned that concerning the last war, the public must receive clear answers regarding the start, process, and conclusion of the war. Clear answers imply an investigation carried out within the framework of a criminal case.”

“I am convinced that under the current government, this investigation will not be conducted objectively and fairly, thus after the change of power, an investigation must certainly be conducted and answers must be provided to all questions, including the CSTO letter,” Vaneltsyam added.

It should be recalled that Mikayel Minasian had stated that 26 days before the war, the CSTO Secretary General Zas wrote a letter to the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, and attached a package of documents proposing to conduct military headquarters exercises within the framework of the CSTO. “He describes the war that Armenia must prepare for and calls on Armenia to appeal to the CSTO before the war starts, because according to that document, Armenia was unable to withstand the war described in that secret letter.” Following this announcement, Mikayel Minasian also published the CSTO Secretary's secret letter to the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
