Vardenyats Pass Remains Impassable for Vehicles with Trailers

As of December 26 at 18:00, ice patches are present in the regions of Kapan, Spitak, Goris, Vardenis, as well as on the Artik-Alagyaz and Vanadzor-Dilijan road segments. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is currently impassable for vehicles towing trailers. However, other interstate and national highways remain open. Road construction workers are actively engaged in clearing the roads and applying salt and sand treatment.
