Turkish Soldiers to Begin Service at Joint Observation Center with Russia in Artsakh from January
Turkish Armed Forces personnel, under the command of a brigadier general, have departed for Azerbaijan. As reported by the TASS news agency, this was announced on Saturday by Turkish NTV television.
According to the source, they are set to begin their service at the joint observation center in Nagorno-Karabakh with the Russian Federation starting in January.
It is important to recall that on November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, and a statement was signed stipulating that seven districts of Artsakh, along with Shusha and Hadrut, would pass to Azerbaijan, with the exception of one village and villages from the Askeran and Martuni regions, as well as the villages of Talish and Mataghis in the Martakert region.
