Soviet Spy George Blake Passes Away

George Blake, the Soviet spy and former officer of the British MI6 organization, has passed away at the age of 99.

This information was confirmed to RIA Novosti by the press service of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service. "We have received the heavy news that the legendary George Blake has passed away," the service reported.

George Blake was born on November 11, 1922, in the Netherlands. He moved to England in 1942, and subsequently to the Soviet Union.
