Russian Peacekeepers Complete Demining of Northern Outskirts of Stepanakert

Russian peacekeepers are completing the demining of the northern outskirts of Stepanakert. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

“Specialists from the International Mine Clearance Center of the Ministry of Defense of Russia continue their work on the demining of the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces are completing the demining of the northern outskirts of Stepanakert,” the Ministry of Defense's statement noted.

In total, the peacekeepers have cleared more than 280 hectares of land, around 107 kilometers of roads, 452 residential areas, and have discovered and neutralized over 9,000 explosive items.
