National Assembly to Convene Extraordinary Session on December 28

The National Assembly of Armenia will convene an extraordinary session on December 28. This decision has been included in the agenda of the meeting of the National Assembly council.

"Taking into account the initiative of the members of the National Assembly to convene an extraordinary session on December 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM, as well as the decision of the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly to submit a request to the council of the National Assembly regarding the convening of the extraordinary session and the discussion of the draft laws in two readings, and guided by point 2 of parts 6 and 8 of Article 44 of the constitutional law 'Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly', the National Assembly council has decided to agree to convene the extraordinary session on December 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM, following the agenda and timeframe set by the initiator," the decision states.

The agenda for the extraordinary session of the parliament is yet to be announced.
