Meeting Between Prime Minister and Relatives of Missing Soldiers Concludes After Three Hours

The meeting between the Prime Minister and the relatives of missing soldiers has concluded after three hours. One of the parents expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s efforts, noting that they did not receive answers to their questions.

“Parents gathered to hear responses to their questions, even if just seventy percent of them. I did not receive answers to my questions, and I am not satisfied with the government. I will go back to negotiate with the Turks,” said a relative of a missing serviceman. They mentioned that they personally participated in the search efforts for the missing soldiers and even engaged in discussions with Azerbaijani representatives.

The parents pointed out several issues: first, the situation of captives and missing individuals; second, the search and retrieval of the remains of fallen soldiers, especially in adverse weather conditions; and third, the problem of the number of DNA testing devices.

Relatives of missing soldiers stated they raised concerns regarding DNA testing devices, but received unclear responses about when the new device would be operational, with a consensus that it would not be used this year.

It is noteworthy that today the relatives of the missing soldiers were gathered in front of the government building from early morning, and yesterday they had blocked the Baghramyan-Proshyan intersection. Today, they were offered a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, but they declined the offer, demanding a meeting with the Prime Minister instead.
