Identities of Soldiers’ Bodies Unrecognizable: We Cannot Distinguish Between Turk and Armenian
“There have been obstacles for 4-5 days in the search operations for the bodies of missing servicemen. The Turks have prohibited entry into the regions of Jabrayil and Hadrut for various reasons,” said Arsen Ghukasyan, a participant in the search operations for missing soldiers, during an interview on 24TV’s “Interview” program.
“They are in control and can do as they wish. They also demand from us that we hand over our missing bodies. I have appealed to the soldiers who fought; if the Turks have hidden any of the bodies, let them respond,” he added.
“There are many bodies in the refrigerators. We have been told why those bodies are not being handed over. During this war, there have been diversionary groups that wore Armenian uniforms, mingling with our deceased soldiers' bodies. It must be clarified through DNA testing,” he explained.
