ICRC Supports 221 Families Temporarily Sheltered in Artsakh

The Artsakh Information Headquarters reports that the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has recently provided assistance to 221 families who became homeless due to the escalation of conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. These families are currently taking temporary shelter in 12 hotels in Stepanakert, a university dormitory, and a home for the elderly.
According to identified needs, each member of the mentioned families (a total of 741 individuals) received food parcels and hygiene supplies from the ICRC. In addition, 104 kitchen utensils and 48 heaters were provided.
The ICRC mission continues to gather information on all internally displaced persons from local authorities in order to plan further actions.
