Court Rejects Motion to Detain Kajaran Mayor

The court has rejected the motion to detain Manvel Paramazyan, the head of the Kajaran community, submitted by the investigative body.

“We can note that the judicial system continues to maintain its integrity and, in any case, is able to resist the orders of political power. The court has not found grounds for detention,” said Manvel Paramazyan’s lawyer, Ervand Varosyan. According to him, this decision was legally expected.
