Citizens Who Lost Property Due to Devastation in Artsakh Will Receive 250,000 AMD: Minister

The government has adopted 15 social measures aimed at addressing the needs of those affected by the war in Artsakh. This was announced during a press conference by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan.
He briefly presented the approved measures:
- Citizens registered in Artsakh will receive 68,000 AMD, plus an additional payment of 15,000 AMD for those without property. Currently, 90,000 citizens have benefited from this program, with a total of 6.5 billion AMD allocated.
- Citizens registered in areas outside of Artsakh's control will receive 300,000 AMD, and there are 30,000 beneficiaries, of whom 5,000 have already received assistance.
- Citizens who have lost property due to the devastation in Artsakh will receive 250,000 AMD.
- -5. As of today, two hospitality programs are being launched. Citizens hosting people from Artsakh will receive 30,000 AMD per person in Armenia, and 40,000 AMD per person in Artsakh.
- 6-7. Two programs will start in January to provide temporary employment for Artsakh residents, known as the educational internship program. If they intern with an employer and gain experience, they will be paid 100,000 AMD, plus 34,000 AMD to the employer.
- 8-9. Starting in January, public works will be implemented in villages, where participants will receive a daily salary of 8,000 AMD.
- 10-11. The war has also caused devastation within Armenia, and residents of Syunik and Gegharkunik who have suffered property damage will receive about 50 million AMD in compensation. Families of those killed due to shelling in these regions will receive 5 million AMD, and citizens with disabilities will receive between 1-3 million AMD.
- 12-13. Two measures are being implemented related to the Servicemen's Insurance Fund. If a serviceman injured or missing due to the war is a beneficiary of the fund, but the circumstances of their disappearance have not yet been legally confirmed, nor has their disability status been granted, they will receive compensation of 300,000 AMD.
- 14-15. Co-financing of December payments has been carried out for pensioners and beneficiaries in Artsakh amounting to 940 million AMD, as well as co-financing of utility payments for Artsakh citizens for September-November.
