Questions May Arise in Two Settlements of Syunik: Nikol Pashinyan

As you are aware, demarcation work is currently underway at border points in Syunik. These demarcation efforts involve certain nuances and complexities. However, our conviction is that this work must take place. It is necessary from the perspective of ensuring the security of Syunik and, in general, Armenia. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government session.

“In any case, our position is that with this action, we are enhancing the guarantees of Armenia's security. There are two settlements that may have certain issues arising: the settlements of Vorotan and Shurnukh. There are certain border issues there, around which daily work is taking place. These issues may lead to certain painful situations,” he noted.
