Cavusoglu and Lavrov to Discuss Implementation of the Artsakh Trilateral Statement
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will make a working visit to Sochi on December 29, where he will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. According to a report by the Russian Foreign Ministry's official representative Maria Zakharova, this was announced during a press briefing for journalists.
“It is planned to discuss in detail issues related to the implementation of the trilateral statement signed on November 9 between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. The emphasis will be placed on reducing the risks of possible clashes and providing humanitarian assistance to the countries. The focus will be on the operations of the Russian-Turkish monitoring center for overseeing military actions and the ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone,” said Sharapova.
During the Turkish Foreign Minister's visit, a number of other issues related to the Russian-Turkish bilateral and international agenda will also be discussed.
