Car Leaves Road and Crashes into Tree on Shiraz Street: Fatality Reported

On December 24, at 18:25, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident on Shiraz Street in Yerevan.

A rescue team from the Special Operations Division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a fire and rescue squad from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Honda Coupe, driven by 70-year-old Gagik M., had left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Rescuers extricated the driver from the vehicle, and emergency medical personnel provided first aid on-site. Unfortunately, the driver did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead.

The rescuers secured the area and disconnected the vehicle's power supply.
