Yerevan Municipality Has Not Distributed Bonuses for About 6 Months: Haik Marutyan

It has been about 6 months since the Yerevan Municipality has distributed any bonuses. This was stated today, December 23, during a session of the Yerevan Council by the Mayor of Yerevan Haik Marutyan.

“Given the circumstances related to the war, we have made such a decision, and the entire composition of the municipality understands that we should not remain detached during these difficult times. The sacrifices that our sisters and brothers have endured—many have unfortunately lost their sons and fathers—constitute a national tragedy, and the Yerevan Municipality is participating in this process with its small contribution,” said Marutyan, adding that these funds will be allocated for the installation of new elevators in buildings where disabled servicemen from the war reside.

Marutyan also noted that there will not be a 13th salary either.
