VIDEO: Protest Demanding Pashinyan's Resignation in Burbank, Los Angeles
Supporters of the Homeland Salvation Movement staged a protest in Burbank, Los Angeles, demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister. One of the participants in the event recalled that two months ago, from the same stage, the most patriotic slogans were voiced, as people gathered to pledge their solidarity with the soldiers of the Armenian army upon hearing the news of war.
“Unfortunately, two months later, we find ourselves here with our heads bowed. In one day, we realized that we had been betrayed. We were all convinced that we would win. Today, two months later, we have understood that we were deceived from the very first day. We realized that our collected donations did not go to our fighting soldiers, but rather to state officials as additional income. We understood that conspiracies were taking place, and generals with experience and a past were being neutralized. While our volunteers were fighting in Shushi, the state had already surrendered Shushi,” the protester stated.
Protesters held placards that read “Nikol, step down” and “My Step, step down.”
