Artak Beglaryan: I Will Submit My Second Resignation Today

Today, I will submit my second resignation, after which the Speaker of the National Assembly will prepare the record and publish it. From that moment, I will be relieved of my duties as the Human Rights Defender (MIP). This was stated by Artsakh's MIP Artak Beglaryan during a press conference, adding that he could be more helpful in resolving the current crisis situation in a new position.

According to Beglaryan, the law requires that the MIP be relieved of their duties when a resignation is submitted twice or if the application is not withdrawn within a week, which is why he will submit his second application today.

“I have received an offer from the President to take on another position in the executive,” he noted.
