Independent MP Arman Babajanyan has appealed to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Artur Davtyan, to investigate reports of coercion regarding participation in a rally organized by parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition parties.
In a post on his Facebook page, the MP stated: "On December 22 of this year, leaders of several state and private companies are compiling lists of employees to force them to take to the streets to participate in the aforementioned rally, threatening them with dismissal if they refuse to comply. I ask you to investigate such reports and take measures to uncover these incidents and hold those responsible accountable."
