Health Ministry Receives Reports of Healthcare Workers Being Forced to Participate in Protests
The Ministry of Health has announced that it has received reports from healthcare workers indicating that some leaders of medical organizations are abusing their official positions and pressuring staff and medical personnel to participate in protests and demand the resignation of the country’s Prime Minister.
The Health Ministry issued a statement regarding the matter: "Respecting everyone's political views and positions, as an entity ensuring the normal functioning of the sector, we call for proper fulfillment of professional duties aimed at safeguarding the health of our people. This year has been and continues to be difficult for the healthcare system. The medical community has honorably fulfilled its mission, for which we are once again grateful. Nevertheless, it is crucial not to lower our guard and to remember the Hippocratic Oath in all circumstances. In case of such coercive measures, we advise contacting law enforcement agencies or calling the Health Ministry's hotline at 80-03," the statement said.
