Car Goes Off Road and Falls into Ditch Near Masis Cemetery: 1 Dead and Injured

On December 22, at 01:07, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report that an accident occurred near the cemetery of Masis city, and there were casualties.

A firefighting and rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a "Ford Transit" vehicle had gone off the roadway and fallen into a ditch near the cemetery. Armen S. (born in 1992) died on the spot.

Before rescuers arrived, Artak D. (born in 1983) was pulled from the ditch by local residents and was brought to the ambulance by the rescuers. The injured individual was transported to Erebuni Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as serious.

Rescuers retrieved Armen S.'s body from the ditch and brought it to the ambulance, as well as disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
