537 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of December 22, Armenia has confirmed 537 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 154,602. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 17 citizens have died from the disease in one day, raising the total number of fatalities to 2,673.

Additionally, there have been 4 recorded deaths of patients infected with the coronavirus who died from other illnesses in the past day. As of December 22, the total number of such deaths is 658. Overall, 21 people have died in one day, resulting in a cumulative death toll of 3,331.

In the last 24 hours, 1,410 individuals have recovered, leading to a total of 134,586 recoveries. The number of patients currently undergoing treatment stands at 16,685, marking a decrease of 894 in one day.

A total of 2,459 tests were conducted in the last day, bringing the grand total of tests performed to date to 570,214.
