Goris Mayor Stands Firm and Confident: Naira Zohrabyan Meets with Arush Arushanyan

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, has posted a photo on her Facebook page with Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan. She wrote: “Just moments ago, I met with the detained Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan at the Central Investigative Committee with my colleagues. The charges brought against him are absurd—organizing illegal gatherings. The Mayor of Goris is firm and confident, and I do not doubt for a moment that the investigative committee will not carry out the political order to detain Arush, and that he will quickly return to Syunik to defend our homeland from the internal and external threats posed by Turkey.”
