As of 17:30, the Vardenyats Pass is Impassable Due to Black Ice

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of December 21, at 17:30, the Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers due to black ice.

Other interstate and republican roads are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and treatment works with salt and sand on the roadways. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
