Putin's Instructions to Russian Special Services Employees
Employees of Russian special services must continue to fight decisively against terrorism, as well as pay serious attention to combating extremism and corruption, and ensure more effective defense of Russia's state borders.
This was stated today by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a congratulatory speech to security agency employees on their professional holiday, according to RIA Novosti.
“Employees of the FSB and other services operating under the auspices of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee must continue to act with the same determination and consistency,” said Putin.
He noted the need to develop the successes achieved in the work of counterintelligence bodies. Serious attention should also be given to information security.
President Vladimir Putin also referenced two registered terrorist-related crimes in the ongoing 11.5 months of the current year.
