Please Do Not Cross the Territory of the Syunik Region Protected by the Armed Forces of Armenia - Governor of Syunik

The Syunik Regional Administration has released a statement from Syunik Governor Melikset Poghosyan, which reads as follows:

“Dear residents of Syunik,

For security reasons, I appeal to the residents of our border villages: please do not cross the territory of the Syunik region protected by the Armed Forces of Armenia for purposes such as cutting wood, grazing livestock, and other activities.

We would like to inform you that the Goris-Kapan road is monitored by the Armed Forces of Armenia, Armenian and Russian border guards, and local defense forces.

At the same time, we inform you that on this road, the phone numbers of the command of the border forces are posted on signs, which you can call if necessary.”
