Nobody Explains How Hin Tagher, Khstaberdi, and Dizapayt Came Under Azerbaijani Control
The villages of Hin Tagher and Khstaberdi in the Hadrut region, as well as Mount Dizapayt, have come under the control of Azerbaijan, and there has been no further discussion on this matter. Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the 'Heniq' analytical center, wrote on his Facebook page:
“Nobody explains what kind of agreement led to our villages coming under Azerbaijani control, why our units were disarmed, and how some of them ended up in captivity. Let me remind you that according to the trilateral statement of November 9, these villages were supposed to be under Armenian control. Those who convince us that the transfer of a section of the Goris-Kapan road to Azerbaijani control follows from the November 9 statement do not refer to or mention the same statement, according to which Hin Tagher and Khstaberdi were also supposed to be under the control of Artsakh. It turns out that Azerbaijan applies that statement as it wishes, while the signatory on behalf of Armenia is only in the role of a silent acquiescent and surrenderer. And all of this is just like it was during the drafting and signing of that statement,” he wrote.
