The Government Must Leave Immediately, of Course, the Former Evil Should Not Return: Pavlik Manukyan

The main reason for our defeat is internal conspiracy. This was stated by Pavlik Manukyan, a member of the armed group "Sasna Tsrer" and a freedom fighter, during a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur Pantheon.

Referring to Nikol Pashinyan's statement that opposition actions are elite riots, Pavlik Manukyan responded: “It seems the word elite is mentioned too much. We are here to prevent his entry to the Yerablur.”

“The government must leave immediately; of course, the former evil should not come back. National forces must take over state governance to get out of this difficult situation,” he stated, adding that he envisions Pashinyan's departure with a whip.

He added that he had warned long ago that the situation would restart one day, while the authorities have done nothing: “They were building so many hydroelectric stations in Artsakh, doing other things. Can you imagine how much military equipment could have been acquired instead? They left, fled like jackals, because they had no contribution to the liberation of Artsakh but privatized everything.”

When asked how he would prevent Nikol Pashinyan's entry to the Yerablur, the freedom fighter replied, “With all parts of my body.”

On the discussions about selling Artsakh for 5 billion dollars, he stated that he has not witnessed it, but believes anything: “If in 2004, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces announced that we should give up 3 regions, and I said at that time that it was a stab in the back of the Armenian soldier.
