Reports on Social Media Indicate State Employees Are Being Forced to Participate in Today's March

Reports are circulating online along with videos indicating that many citizens are being coerced to participate in the mourning march towards Yerablur. It is noted that the responsibility for ensuring the presence of state employees has been placed on the Minister of Environment, Romanos Petrosyan.

According to Mediaoprt, the entire state apparatus, including security forces such as the National Security Service, the Ministry of Defense, the Police, the Special Investigative Service, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Military Police, as well as the Parliament, regional administrations, municipal governments, and ministries, have been mobilized to ensure attendance at the march. Everyone has been instructed to report to their workplaces to avoid any absences.

The Telegram page has also posted videos showing citizens being transported by buses to Republic Square.

There are also reports that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has instructed orphanages to ensure the presence of at least 20 staff members.

Human rights defender Ruben Melikyan wrote on his Facebook page that they are ready to provide legal assistance to citizens who are being forced to attend what he referred to as the "traitors' march."

“To help our compatriots who wish to avoid bearing the mark of a traitor, we, dozens of lawyers, offered our full professional support to you yesterday, dear compatriots subjected to ‘coercion,’ and yes, following that statement, we have already had requests,” he wrote.
