470 Refugees Return to Artsakh in 24 Hours, Reports Russian Defense Ministry
Russian peacekeepers have escorted another convoy of refugees returning to their homes in Artsakh from the territory of the Republic of Armenia, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
470 individuals have been transported from Yerevan to Stepanakert by bus, accompanied by patrols from the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police.
Russian peacekeepers conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and oversee compliance with the ceasefire regime across twenty-three observation posts.
The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensure the safe return of citizens to their permanent residences, provide humanitarian assistance, and restore civil infrastructure.
So far, more than 42,000 refugees have returned to Artsakh to their permanent homes.
